Who Is David E. Emery?
David E. Emery is a distinguished writer whose work delves into some of the most controversial and thought-provoking mysteries of human history. His latest book, Beyond the Biblical and Into the Universe of You, was published today, and on speaking with David, he reveals that its journey to publication was anything but conventional.
When I asked David how this book came into being, he explained that, for nearly four years, he had been researching and writing purely for personal discovery. At the time, he had no intention of turning his work into a published book. Writing, he told me, was simply a way of recording insights and preserving what he was uncovering about what he describes as the hidden narratives behind accepted human history.
During this period, David was a regular speaker on Sacha Stone’s “freedom-of-the-spirit” platforms. What began as informal conversations with Sacha and his diverse, intellectually curious guests gradually evolved into something more significant. David recalled being surprised when viewers began reaching out to him directly, emailing questions and seeking deeper explanations for the ideas he was sharing during Zoom sessions. It was then, he said, that he realised the answers people were searching for already existed within his growing body of written work.
New Friends
Despite this growing interest, David assumed the idea of publication was unrealistic. Financial limitations made engaging a publisher seem impossible, and he believed the book would remain a private endeavour. Even so, word quietly spread that he was working on something expansive— “a book about everything,” as he described it to me.
A pivotal turning point came when David encountered Jane Evershed on one of Sacha Stone’s shows. He spoke warmly of Jane, an artist, visionary, entrepreneur, and independent truth-seeker, whose depth of knowledge immediately resonated with the themes he was exploring. Their subsequent correspondence proved transformative. From that single connection, this book would ultimately emerge eighteen months later.

The Team Behind The Book
Through Jane, David was introduced to Derek and Lisa Peterson in the United States, successful business leaders with a sincere interest in expanding humanity’s understanding of its origins and purpose. David shared how their support went far beyond encouragement. When Jane mentioned that his ageing computer could no longer handle the volume of research he was compiling, Derek arranged, without hesitation, for a state-of-the-art laptop to be delivered directly to David’s home.
David admitted that this gesture initially left him both shocked and deeply humbled. His instinctive concern was how he could ever repay such generosity. Jane and Derek, however, reframed it for him simply: when the universe offers what is needed, the only response required is gratitude.
That generosity did not stop there. Jane, Derek, and Lisa were determined that David should complete the book and see it published. When David laughed off the idea, again citing cost, they proposed something extraordinary: that he travel to the United States, stay with them, and finish the manuscript there. Even then, David hesitated, convinced he could not afford the journey. The solution came swiftly. Derek paid for the flight, gifting David the time and space to write without constraint.
A Gift From The Universe
In the end, David spent three months in the United States, supported entirely by their hospitality. It was during this period that Beyond the Biblical and Into the Universe of You was finally completed.
As for publication, the final barrier was overcome through collective effort. Jane, Derek, Lisa, and a wider circle of friends organised a GoFundMe campaign, allowing the book to be published and shared with the world, and ultimately leading David to be featured here today.
Throughout our conversation, David repeatedly returned to the same theme: gratitude. He credits the book’s existence not only to research and persistence, but to the generosity, commitment, and belief of those who stood beside him. Above all, he speaks with profound appreciation for Jane Evershed and Derek and Lisa Peterson, whose faith in both him and his work made the entire journey possible.
What began as a private exploration has become, in David’s words, an “out-of-the-blue” gift from what he sees as a loving universe, expressed through the kindness of people willing to support truth-seeking and creative courage.

Beyond The Biblical and Into The Universe of You
Rarely does a work arise that has the power to shift the axis of what we collectively understand about origins, cosmology, and the great narratives which bind them. Beyond the Biblical is such a work, embodying a fierce commitment to reimagining the stories we’ve inherited and illuminating those we’ve long forgotten.
This book is no ordinary exploration; it is a resounding invitation to venture beyond the confines of the mundane, the traditional, the cult-programmed. Within these pages, alternative timelines and histories come alive, not in rebellion against what we have been told, but in service of a truer understanding of ourselves and the cosmos we inhabit.
It dares to dismantle the comfortable scaffolding of received wisdom and leaves us standing before something infinitely grander, with more questions than answers, but truths ringing unmistakably clear.

Enjoying Life
When our conversation turned to life beyond writing and research, David spoke with the same quiet enthusiasm. In his free time, he is an avid tennis player, a passion that has been part of his life for decades. He shared that he once played professionally and later worked as a tennis coach, an experience he credits with teaching him discipline, focus, and the importance of perseverance, qualities that continue to shape his work as a writer.
David is also a devoted family man. He has two grown-up children and, with evident pride, told me that he has now become a grandfather, an experience he describes as both grounding and deeply joyful.
Away from the page, David enjoys travelling, taking long reflective walks, and, above all, meeting new people. He has a natural curiosity about others and a genuine love of conversation, often forming fascinating connections wherever he goes. It is clear that these encounters, like his travels and time spent outdoors, continue to inspire both his thinking and his writing, keeping him closely connected to the world he so passionately explores.
